Bio

A serial entrepreneur, Mike started his career in real estate, specializing in working with all sizes of commercial residential property owners in property management, brokerage services and representing investors analyzing and purchasing investment-grade properties.

In 2012 after a serendipitous opportunity, Mike purchased and took over a small sandwich shop from another Mike called Mike & Patty’s. Since then, he has 20x’d revenue, added an additional four successful, profitable locations across a total of three brands including a bakery/commissary producing artisanal breads and pastries and a sixth location in the works with more growth slated in the pipeline. 

With a passion for brand and product development, Mike is an operator with multi-faceted expertise from business development, acquisition, finance, site selection, construction management, tech stack selection and implementation, menu development and everything in between when it comes to developing, running and optimizing craft-casual restaurant concepts.

With all the build-outs, brands created and products launched; mistakes were made and lessons were learned. Mike is incredibly passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge to help spare other food entrepreneurs from making the same mistakes while crafting a strategy that will result in setting up a new brand or concept for success.
